Building Greener
CDS Mestel has always been committed in maintaining sustainable practices both in the field and in the office.
We have completed a handful of construction projects that were designed and built in compliance with USGBC (United States Green Building Council) guidelines and their green building rating system, LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), which is the most widely used green building rating system in the world. We have also taken a greener approach internally, within our own office building, in an effort to provide the best possible working environment for our employees while also making sure we reduce any negative impacts on the environment.
The Green Team
As sustainable buildings have been increasing, we are making sure that we are staying acquainted with all the guidelines that are established by LEED and by the USGBC. Our team has been trained on how to oversee, manage, and achieve all levels of LEED; Certified, Silver, Gold and Platinum. We are also capable of putting together indoor air quality plans (IAQ Plans), Waste Management Plans and Material Procurement Strategy Plans to ensure we are reaching the required certification level that our client is striving for.
